• Indoor saunas are designed for dry, ventilated interior spaces such as a home gym, spare room, or wellness area.

• Outdoor saunas are built with materials and insulation suited to weather exposure and usually require a solid, level base (concrete pad, deck, or pavers).

2.2 Do I need an electrician?

Most full-size home saunas (traditional and many infrared cabins) require a dedicated electrical circuit and should be connected by a licensed electrician, especially for 240V systems.

Smaller plug-and-play infrared units may use a standard household outlet, but always verify the voltage and amperage requirements in the product specifications and manual.

2.3 How long does it take for a sauna to heat up?

Typical warm-up times:

• Traditional saunas: about 30–45 minutes to reach a comfortable temperature, depending on room size, heater power,
  and ambient conditions.

• Infrared saunas: generally 10–30 minutes to reach operating temperature, though you will feel the radiant warmth
  on your body even before the air feels hot.

2.4 Do I need a special floor or a drain?

Most home saunas do not require a floor drain, especially if they are used responsibly (no large water buckets spilled inside). A water-resistant, level floor such as tile, vinyl, sealed concrete, or certain laminates is usually recommended.

3.1 How long should each session last?

General guidelines (for healthy adults):

• Traditional sauna: 10–20 minutes per round, with cool-down breaks in between.
• Infrared sauna: 20–30 minutes per session; some experienced users may go slightly longer.

Start at the lower end of the range if you are new to sauna use and adjust gradually.

You can do multiple short sessions rather than one very long session. Always hydrate and leave the sauna if you feel uncomfortable.

3.2 What is the ideal temperature?

Typical ranges:

 • Traditional sauna: about 70–90°C (158–194°F)
• Infrared sauna: about 40–60°C (104–140°F)

3.3 What should I wear and bring into the sauna?

• Wear a towel or lightweight, breathable clothing.
• Sit on a towel to protect the bench and absorb sweat.
• Bring a bottle of water and sip regularly before and after your session.

Avoid wearing jewelry, watches, or anything that can overheat against your skin.

3.4 Can children use the sauna?

Sauna use for children should be much gentler and always supervised by an adult. Some experts recommend avoiding infrared sauna use for young children and exercising extra caution with any high-heat environment.

Always consult your pediatrician before allowing a child to use a sauna.

4.1 How do I clean and maintain my sauna?

• Use towels on benches during each session to keep wood cleaner.
• After use, allow the sauna to cool and wipe down benches and backrests with a soft cloth and a mild, non-abrasive cleaner
  (often a water + vinegar mix is enough).
• Keep the door slightly open after use to air out the cabin and reduce moisture buildup.
• Do not use harsh chemicals or high-pressure washing inside the sauna.

Heaters and electrical components should only be serviced by qualified professionals.

4.2 Do the wood and heaters require special treatment?

• Interior wood is usually unfinished, so it can breathe and handle heat better.
  You can occasionally sand light stains if needed.
• Exterior wood (especially on outdoor units) may benefit from a UV-protective, sauna-safe sealant as recommended
  by the manufacturer.
• Heaters and control panels should never be opened or modified by the user; please refer to the warranty
  and contact a professional for any issues.

5.1 What happens if my sauna arrives damaged?

1. Inspect the packaging at delivery. If you see visible damage (holes, tears, crushed corners, signs of moisture, or tampering), refuse the delivery.

2. If the damage was not visible on the outside but you discover it while unpacking, please contact us within the timeframe specified on our Shipping & Returns page, with clear photos of:

   o The damaged part(s)
   o The internal and external packaging

We will work with you to arrange a repair, replacement, or other appropriate solution, depending on the situation and brand warranty.

5.2 What kind of warranty do saunas typically include?

• Structural and heater coverage for several years
