Cryoskin Treatments in Daytona Beach, FL

Remove Cellulite & Wrinkles with Cryoskin

What is Cryoskin?

Cryoskin is one of the most advanced, noninvasive treatment options for slimming and toning your body.

Using the hot–cold Peltier effect, Cryoskin kills fat cells without harming the surrounding tissues while increasing oxygen supply and collagen production. The final result? A slimmer toned body with fewer fine lines and wrinkles.

Cryoskin treatments last around between 20 to 30 minutes, with no need to factor in recovery time because there is no recovery required. This procedure has several fat loss benefits without lasting side effects.

Cryoskin Services

There are 3 different types of Cryoskin services the Elite Medical & Wellness Center offers to its Daytona Beach patients:

CryoSlimming uses thermoelectric cooling to freeze fat cells deep within the subcutaneous layer of the skin, which kills the fat cells without damaging the skin’s surface.

This treatment takes about 28 minutes, starting with 4 minutes of heat set to 104 degrees Fahrenheit followed up by 24 minutes of cold at 17.6 degrees Fahrenheit. This thermoelectric cooling treatment will be divided evenly across the treated areas.

The cells that died off during the CryoSlimming treatment will be passed naturally through your lymphatic system.

CryoToning diminishes the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and extra cellulite. The CryoToning device will be set at 28 degrees Fahrenheit, a temperature below the freezing point of water (32 degrees Fahrenheit), and will be applied to the treated area for 20 minutes. During those 20 minutes, the freezing temperature improves metabolism and circulation in that area. The improved metabolism and circulation will boost collagen production and skin elasticity, decrease pore size, and eliminate cellulite.

CryoFacial is a special facial option that uses cold temperatures to widen blood vessels to increase blood flow. Blood vessels transport red blood cells throughout the body, which contain oxygen. When the oxygen supply can be transported more easily with better blood flow, it reduces the appearance of wrinkles and pores while improving skin elasticity. CryoFacial can help you look and feel younger.

How Does Cryoskin work?

Cryoskin treatment sessions begin with a manual massage. The device, which looks like a vacuum hose attached to a box, starts out hot (the precise temperature will vary depending on the treatment) and gradually cools down to freezing temperatures. Due to the massage and gradual change in heat, most of our Daytona Beach patients describe it as a pleasant experience.

This treatment will lower the temperature of fat cells until it triggers apoptosis, the process of natural cell death, in which cells die off and are passed through the body’s lymphatic system and urine.

What are the Benefits of Cryoskin?

Cryoskin technology destroys fat cells naturally and rapidly. Many of the fat cells are destroyed during the session while the remaining dead cells will be eliminated during the following 2 to 3 weeks.

Compared to other cryotherapy treatments, Cryoskin is more effective because it doesn’t just produce freezing temperatures, but also heat. The change in temperature dramatically affects the fat cells and overall results.

How Often Can I Have a Cryoskin Treatment?

This depends on the specific Cryoskin treatment you have in the first place.

CryoSlimming can be done once every 2 weeks, which is roughly how long it takes for the body to naturally get rid of the dead cells. When a patient undergoes CryoSlimming during one of those two weeks, they risk compromising the results. Doing so can potentially clog the pathways in the lymphatic system.

CryoFacials and CryoToning may be performed every 7 days, though this may vary from patient to patient.

How Many Areas Can Cryoskin Treat at Once?

At Elite Wellness & Medical Center, we will treat no more than 2 areas at once for the same reasons we will not perform CryoSlimming more than once every 2 weeks. We do not want to risk clogging the lymphatic system’s pathways or you not achieving the desired results.

However, we may treat an area for a longer period of time if they have a larger body mass. If too much time is spent in one area, you may experience some irritation, local hypothermia, and some pain in the treated area.

We recommend focusing on the upper body or lower body in one session.

Is Cryoskin Safe? Are There any Side Effects?

Yes, Cryoskin is very safe. There may be some side effects, though none are serious or life-threatening. These side effects may include:

  • Increased urination
  • Change in urine color
  • Redness at the treatment site
  • Itching from a cosmetic product-related reaction (this can be avoided by not wearing makeup when you come in)
  • Delayed abdominal muscle soreness (if the abdomen was the treated area)

Some people with certain pre-existing conditions should not have a Cryoskin treatment. Some of these conditions include (but may not be limited to):

  • Raynaud’s syndrome
  • Poor circulation
  • Pregnancy
  • Severe diabetes
  • Cancer

If you’re not sure if Cryoskin is right for you, talk to your doctor or call Elite & Medical Wellness Center for more information.

How Long Do the Treatment Results Last?

The results from Cryoskin treatment can usually be seen from the first session, but the best results will appear anywhere from 15 days to 3 weeks after the treatment.

These results can last several months or several years, but that depends on you. To maximize your treatment results, a good diet and regular exercise are musts.

We also offer booster sessions for our Daytona Beach patients every month, quarter, or more or less often, depending on what you need.
